Cosplay Eye Makeup

Let me introduce you to one of my favoritecosplay channels ran by zWinnieYap.

She creates some amazing eye makeup that can be used for bishounen makeup, villain makeup, gyaru makeup, or any other application of her videos. Please like and share because she definitely deserves more attention for her craft!

Basic Craft Foam Attack on Titan 3DMG Blade Tutorial
Disclaimer: By no means is this most exact or realistic way to make 3DMG but it makes due for a fairly decent con-safe cosplay prop that doesn’t weigh a ton or cost a fortune. This tutorial is only for the blades, but you can use the same basic principles and materials to make most of the other parts as well.
-Heather
What you are going to need:
1 36” sheet of white foam board (from Michael’s)
1-2 (12” x 18”) sheets of white craft foam (I used Creatology Fun Foam)
Black acrylic paint
White acrylic paint
Brown acrylic paint
Silver 3D fabric paint (in the little squirt bottles for detailing)
Silver metallic paint (I used Dazzling Metallics by DecoArt)
Exacto-knife
Glue gun (make sure you have lots of glue sticks)
2 black pipecleaners
Fine tip black sharpie
Small paint brushes
Pencil
Tracing paper (or regular printer paper works as well)
1 small sheet of sand paper

Titan Makeup test - Open Mouth
I added one of my first set of photos for comparison.

So just like the first one, except this time, the mouth is open and I made myself an ear… just one for the sake of these photos.
I wanted to make this mouth work only when it’s wide open. The inside of my lips are completely black, and I curled my lips over my teeth when I make that face to give the illusion that my mouth really does open that wide and you can’t see my real teeth.
And a little GIF to show process. I have the beanie on to keep my hair back since my bangs kinda poke me in the eyes these days.

How to cover up tattoos!
use a red lipstick covering the outlines
pat on a light concealer, using a setting powder
pat on your skin tone concealer, and clean up any mistakes using baby wipes to remove excess concealer
use a fluffy brush and smooth it out with foundation powder.
VIDEO TUTORIAL:

we don’t usually reblog/post cosplay stuff, but a friend pointed it out to me and i haven’t seen it elsewhere SO maybe it can help someone!

Useful for cosplay AND if you’re applying for a job that views tattoos as ‘unprofessional’.
